On 09.04.2025 at 18:30 the #17 Polar Talk will take place at the Natural History Museum Vienna.
 

This event offers a look at the polar regions through the eyes of young researchers. From investigating the climatic drivers of Greenland’s glacier changes to uncovering the secrets of Arctic soil microbiology and studying Arctic communities, early career scientists will share their journeys into polar research.

Join us to discover their scientific interests, what drives their passion for polar science and how they got into polar research.

Polar Talks is a series of lectures organised by the Austrian Polar Research Institute (APRI) in which polar researchers from the natural and social sciences report on their research in the polar regions in a generally understandable form.
